Terms of Service
Last Updated: August 10, 2026
1. Operator and Contact
FramePin is operated by Oleksandr Georgiiovych Pustovalov, a Ukrainian individual entrepreneur (FOP) ("FramePin", "we", "us"). Customer support, billing questions, complaints, and legal notices may be sent to support@framepin.com. We normally respond to support requests within three business days.
2. Acceptance and Service
By creating an account, purchasing a product, or using FramePin, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. FramePin is a browser-based service for turning recordings into interactive step-by-step guides, annotated videos, PDFs, and screenshots. Editing and most exports run locally in your browser. Publishing is optional and uploads the generated guide assets so they can be shared and embedded.
3. Accounts, Trial, and Plans
- Local features: Importing, editing, and PDF/screenshot export do not require an account.
- Account features: Publishing, MP4 export, and AI voice-over generation require an account and an eligible trial or paid plan.
- Free trial: New accounts receive a 14-day trial with up to 5 live guides, 10 publishes total, and 5,000 one-time VoiceOver credits. No payment method is required and the trial does not convert automatically into a paid subscription.
- Plans: Current prices, limits, and included benefits are shown on the Pricing page and in the application before purchase.
- Expiration: When trial or paid access expires, publishing, the interactive guide player, MP4 export, and voice generation pause. Hosted guide files are retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted. Files at direct CDN URLs may remain reachable during this retention period. Activating an eligible plan during the retention period restores the guide; after deletion, it must be published again from the local project. Local editing and PDF/screenshot exports continue. Unspent VoiceOver credits remain on the account but can be used only while an eligible trial or plan is active.
4. Subscriptions and Cancellation
- Automatic renewal: A subscription renews automatically at the billing interval and price displayed before purchase until you cancel it.
- Cancellation: You can cancel from the Account page in FramePin. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the already-paid billing period; access continues until that date.
- Plan changes: Available upgrades require confirmation in FramePin. Before you confirm, FramePin shows the new recurring price and explains when an immediate prorated charge may apply. The payment provider calculates that immediate charge; FramePin does not show its exact amount in advance.
- Failed payments: We may pause paid features and the interactive guide player when a renewal cannot be collected. The expiration and hosted-media retention rules above apply.
5. Prices, Payment Processing, and Taxes
Prices are displayed in US dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes and the final total are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Creem (Armitage Labs OĆ), which acts as merchant of record and contractual reseller for the transaction, collects payment, handles applicable indirect taxes, and issues the customer receipt or invoice. A purchase is also subject to Creem's Buyer Terms. FramePin does not receive or store your complete payment-card number.
6. VoiceOver Credits
VoiceOver credit packs are one-time purchases, separate from subscriptions. One credit represents one character submitted for voice generation. Credits do not expire, carry across plan changes, have no cash value, and are not transferable. Credits are consumed when a generation request is successfully fulfilled. Voice generation requires an eligible active trial or paid plan even when the account has an unused credit balance.
7. Refund Policy
All purchases are final and non-refundable once subscription access or VoiceOver credits have been delivered, except where a refund is required by mandatory law or a duplicate charge occurred. Canceling a subscription stops future renewals but does not refund the current paid period. If a successful payment did not grant the purchased access or credits, contact support@framepin.com; we will restore the purchase or refund it if we cannot deliver it. A refund removes the related subscription access or unused credits. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights.
8. User Content and Published Guides
- Ownership: You retain ownership of the materials you use and the results you create.
- Hosting license: By publishing, you grant us a non-exclusive license to store, reproduce, and deliver the published content solely to operate FramePin.
- Visibility: Published guides are accessible to anyone with the share link or access to a page where they are embedded. Generated step media and any hosted PDFs or screenshots may also be accessed by anyone with their direct URLs.
- Responsibility: You are responsible for having the rights and permissions necessary for all content and personal data you process or publish.
9. Acceptable Use and Enforcement
You may not use FramePin for illegal, infringing, deceptive, abusive, or malicious activity; attempt to bypass limits or security; interfere with the Service; or publish content that violates another person's rights. We may suspend accounts or unpublish content when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect the Service, or comply with law. Report abusive or infringing content to support@framepin.com.
10. Availability and Liability
FramePin is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. You are responsible for backing up projects stored locally in your browser.
11. Account Closure
You may request account deletion at support@framepin.com. Cancel any active subscription before requesting deletion. Account deletion removes hosted content and account data subject to billing, fraud-prevention, backup, dispute, and legal-retention requirements; it does not remove projects stored only in your browser.
12. Changes and Governing Terms
We may update these Terms and will publish the updated date on this page. Material changes apply prospectively. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the FramePin operator, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections that apply in their place of residence. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any dispute informally.
