What counts as a live guide?
A published interactive guide available by link or embed. Republishing keeps its slot and URL. Unpublishing frees the slot and removes its hosted copy and statistics; your local project remains. Views are unlimited.
How big can a guide be?
A published guide can contain up to 27 steps.
What counts toward the publishing allowance?
A publish session that needs to upload new, changed, or repaired content uses one allowance when it starts, even if the session is not completed. Basic includes 30 per UTC calendar month, Creator 150, and Pro 500; the trial includes 10 total. Republishing an unchanged project when the live guide is intact uses no allowance.
What gets published with a guide?
Every published guide includes its generated step media. Creator and Pro can also publish a compressed PDF and optimized WebP screenshots from the same pinned steps. These files use stable CDN links and are replaced when you republish; publishing later without them removes the hosted copies. Free local PDF and screenshot exports remain available without a plan.
How do VoiceOver credits work?
One credit covers one spoken character. New accounts get 5,000 credits; subscribing adds a one-time plan grant of 5,000, 30,000, or 60,000. Credits never expire or reset and carry across plans. Narration is optional.
What statistics are included?
Every plan shows views and cookie-free unique visitors. Pro also shows how many viewing sessions reached each step.
What happens when access ends?
Live guides, publishing, MP4 export, and VoiceOver pause. Local editing, PDFs, screenshots, and unused credits remain. Canceling keeps access through the paid period; reactivating restores your guides.
